Recognizing the need for an experienced, reliable and affordable local alarm service, Tom Molinari Sr. founded Mountain Alarm in Sonora, California in April of 1989.

Before establishing Mountain Alarm Tom had owned a similar company in the San Francisco Bay area and had twenty years of experience in all phases of the security industry including sales, service and repair, system design, installation and management.

In June of 1995 Tom Molinari Jr joined Mountain Alarm and has worked his way up from wire puller, to installer and now with 17 years under his belt is currently the Service Manager.

Over the years Mountain Alarm Inc has earned its place as the #1 choice for home and business security systems in the MotherLode and the surrounding communities.

In May 2002 the company incorporated and became Mountain Alarm Inc. In April 2009 Mountain, Alarm Inc. completed its twentieth year of providing reasonably priced, friendly, efficient and personalized service to its growing list of satisfied customers.
